foggy mNew Delhi, Thursday, January 28 – People woke up to fog-free day on Wednesday, with no winds to add to the freeze at any extent. Temperature dropped certainly after evening hours but weather was pleasant in total.

However, a thin fog cover was prominent early today. It lasted for a few hours to let populace enjoy the transition and get that same wintry feel which has been in picture from last few days.

Many are, in fact, planning for outing given that sky is to remain clear, offering huge comfort to living creatures. As a matter of fact, several residents are coming out from their houses to witness beauty of the national capital, which is rich in cultural heritage. The crowd at Red Fort, Qutub Minar, India Gate, the National Zoological Park and various other places proved that Delhiites and people from overseas love to have glimpse over the beauty held by world popular monuments located in the metropolis.

As far as weather on Thursday is concerned, dampness is to settle on 82 per cent, while speed of the wind will be 10 km per hour. Rise in the ratio of humidity and gust pace remains during remaining days of the week. Scattered clouds are on the cards but that are not likely to bring any rain in the city. According to weathermen, highest temperature in Delhi is to fluctuate between 23 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius and minimum between 9 degree Celsius and 12 degree Celsius from today till Sunday.

Fog during morning time will be lifted in the later hours, not creating a mess on the roads and letting the traffic move smoothly during peak hours. But yes, if this moves at snail’s pace then people will be left no option but to blame countless cars on the roads that usually made commuters have a terrible time post office hours. Here is to mention that traveling via personal vehicles is one of the most hectic tasks for the inhabitants.

Pictures on Delhi streets after implementation of odd-even formula was something to keep in mind given that a fewer vehicles allowed residents see some road. On any other day, it is more often than not cars’ number plates, pollution and faces that looked irritated after being struck in long hour traffic. Rains bring pollution down to a certain extent but there is no any likelihood for the same in the near term. If truth be told, the city is to receive enormous sunshine in the new month.
